Zebulon – Norwood Boyce Ray, 84, passed away March 26, 2025, at his home surrounded by his wife and loved ones. He was born February 21, 1941, in Franklin Co., to the late Clifton Joseph Ray and Nellie Francis Medlin.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Ann Ray; Son, Anthony Kirk Ray (Arletta); daughter, Cynthia Ray Brubaker (Vincent); Sister, Brenda Sue Ray Jones (Ed); Brother, Rex Barbour Ray (Sue); grandchildren, Jessica Sue Brubaker Clemente (Miguel), Jake Vincent Brubaker (Kirsten), Jenny Kathryn Brubaker, Laura Ashley Ray Stephens (Edward); great-grandchildren, Mollie Ray Clemente, Nash Clemente, Edward Luke Stephens, Melynnda Ruth Stephens, Temperance Gloria Stephens, Serendipity Katheranne Stephens, Parker Vincent Brubaker and several beloved nieces and nephews. Mr. Ray is preceded in death by his parents Clifton Joseph and Nellie Francis Medlin Ray; Brother, Bobby Milton Ray (Marie); Sister, Annie Bell Ray Tant (David)

Mr. Ray owned and operated his printing business. He was also a member of Pilot Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 am – 10:30 am, Saturday, March 29, 2025. Funeral service will take place at 10:30 am, Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Pilot Baptist Church, 8103 NC 39 Hwy, Zebulon, NC 27597. Interment will follow in the Williams family cemetery.
