Maryellen Brantley Kindell, 86, of Knightdale, NC, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Maryellen was born on January 1, 1939, in Nash County, NC, a daughter of the late Mack Herman Brantley and the late Agnes Eva Brantley. She spent her childhood years in Spring Hope, NC. She lived most of her life in Knightdale, NC, and worked as a Clerk for State of North Carolina for over 30 years. She was a faithful member of Green Pines Baptist Church where she was active in the Bible Study. In her spare time, she loved working in her yard, even cutting her own grass into her later years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Bobby Julius Murray, and her second husband, Richard Lee Kindell.
She is survived by Shirley her sister and only child Robert; a nephew Mark; a niece, Susan; and a great niece, Liz.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Strickland Funeral Home, in Wendell, with Pastor Jarrod Scott and Reverend Richard Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Zebulon Town Cemetery.
