Archer Lodge – Mary Lou Hocutt Price, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Friday. She was born in Johnston County to the late Paul and Pluma Wilder Hocutt. Mary Lou worked as an accountant at Johnson Lamb Company; Webster’s Tax Service, she worked with the Smithfield Tobacco Market, and also was treasurer at White Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, H. Russell Price.
She is survived by her son, Kent Price, daughter, LuAnn Creech, and grandchild, Georgia Nicolé Price.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to White Oak Caregivers or White Oak Cemetery Committee.
She will lie in repose on Monday from 2 pm-5 pm at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. A private service will be held for family on Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at White Oak Baptist Church. The graveside service will follow and will be open to friends and family in the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Funeral service video will be available at www.facebook.com/stricklandfuneral

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I know that y’all will miss her greatly! There‘a one comfort that you can rest in and that is the fact that she is with the Lord and you will see her again one day! Praying for you all to be comforted with our Lord’s peace!
