Marjorie Rosemary Cowie
November 30, 1926 – March 8, 2017
WENDELL – Marjorie Rosemary Cowie, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesdsay. She was born in Laramie Wyoming to the late John J & Fern Limbach Sherman. Marjorie attended Highlands United Methodist Church in Denver where she was very active, serving in many facets of church life. She was a member of the Territorial Daughters of Colorado. Marjorie was very active in volunteering with the American Cancer Society and this was her calling in life. She loved reading and scrapbooking but her family were the most important thing to her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John G. Cowie.
She is survived by her children, Craig Cowie (Jean) of Frenchtown, MT, Caren Bailey (Jim) of Wendell, siblings, Glen Sherman of Santa Clarita, CA, Dan Sherman of Craig CO, grandchildren, Jeremy Cowie (Shaniko), Erin DeGroot (Ryan), Matthew Bailey, Katie Bailey, great grandchildren, Emersyn DeGroot, Fletcher DeGroot, & Quinn Cowie.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a Charity of Choice
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
