Marjorie Hill

ZEBULON – Marjorie Hill, born October 27, 1938, of Zebulon, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025. Marjorie was born in Smithfield NC, on October 27, 1938, to the late Arthur and Kathleen Parrish. She is survived by the love of her life, Danny Hill; sister, Helen Ruth
Creech; children, Chris Hill (Sherri), Barry Hill (Michelle) and Tammy Fine (Jake); grandchildren, Brittany, Daniel (Diana), Victoria, Isabella, Kylie, Harrison, Blake and her great grandchild Jesse, as well as many other family members and long-time friends.
In 1955, Marjorie at the young age of 16 and Danny age 18, eloped to Dillon SC to be married. This past June 4th they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Marjorie and Danny were inseparable, and he was by her side, holding her hand, as she passed.
Marjorie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed dearly.
Marjorie was a dedicated member of the Wendell United Methodist Church for 55 years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Wendell United Methodist Church in Wendell, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2 pm.
