Margaret Anne Creed Morris

August 9, 1930 – March 5, 2021

MIDDLESEX – Margaret Anne Creed Morris, 90, went home to be with the lord on Friday. She was born in Surry County to the late George Shropshire & Margaret Collins. She was the proud proprietor of her own hair dressing salon. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 31 years, Henry Lee Creed, her second husband of 30 years, James Morris, daughter, Sharon Downey, brother, Alexander Shropshire, sister, Zelphia Shropshire.

She is survived by daughters, Margaret Lee Creed, Susan Davis (Larry), grandchildren, Jennifer Amick (Michael), Eric Davis, Cheryl Whitaker, great-grandchildren, Liam, Wyatt, Chris, Jr. and Zoe.

Funeral service Thursday, 2pm, Strickland Funeral Home & Cremation Chapel, 211 W. Third Street, Wendell, NC. The family will receive friends 12:30-1:45pm, prior to the service. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
