ZEBULON – Marcia Leffingwell, age 101, of Zebulon passed away at Zebulon Rehab on Sunday, June 6, 2021. She is survived by her children, Alicia Murray (Bobby) of Fuquay Varina, Lee Naylor (Dora) of Clayton, Johnny Leffingwell (Kay) of Zebulon and Bertie Corbett (Larry) of Zebulon; grandchildren, Debbie Johnson (Andy), Richie Murray (Mark), Kim Gilbert, Nancee Franklin, Anjanette Mitchell, Brian Leffingwell (Jennifer), Lisa Burnett, John Leffingwell (Becky) and Linda Gold (Steve); nine great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; siblings, Aire Jane Horton of Bunn, Vadie McLamb of Autryville and Ronald Lee Richards (Betty Faye) of Zebulon. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert Naylor and Leo Leffingwell; grandchildren, Kevin Vann Bryant and Candace Bryant Brown, two sisters and five brothers.
Marcia was the fifth child born to Buck B. Richards and Nellie Robertson Richards on October 13, 1919. She lived in Baltimore for many years with her family and returned to Zebulon to be close to her aging parents and family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and sister to her siblings. She loved to bake and quilt. She has made many beautiful quilts that she gave to her family. She even made a quilt that hung at the Angus Barn.

Visitation 2-3pm, Wednesday, Corinth Baptist Church, 13450 NC Hwy 96, Zebulon. Memorial service at 3 pm. Inurnment will follow at Union Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
