Madeline T. Holloman, 95, formerly of Raleigh, NC died peacefully in West point, VA on Thursday, December 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles R. Holloman, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Charles Holloman, Jr., Chris Holloman (Donna), Michael Holloman (Tammy) and Mary Ann Via (Steve); 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Ferguson and Carolyn T. Johnson; and a brother, Laverne “Bud” Turner.
Madeline was affectionately known as “Mema” was a wonderful mother, Mema, and friend who will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 29, at Wakefield Central Baptist Church, 308 Proctor Street, Zebulon, N.C., and where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Raleigh Memorial Park.
