Prayers for the family. I have great memories of Lynwood Charles, Uncle Thomas and Aunt Velma when Mom and Daddy where alive. We had lots of fun growing. God Bless.

Lynwood and I became acquainted (friends) at four years old. Needless to say we were lifelong friends. We learned our work ethic in the July / August sun in a tobacco field Baptized together at age 12 and never lost our faith. He loved the out of doors and physical activity and whatever he was doing he did it well. My prayers go for the family that he loved dearly.

So saddened to see that Lynwood has passed away. I spent many afternoons after school waiting for him to finish his homework so we could play football in his front yard. Many memories also of going to the farm and shooting bullfrogs on the pond. Certainly will be praying for God’s comfort and strength for the family.

I loved me some Lyn! He always kept a smile on his face and made me laugh! I know he is in a better place, free from the pain and suffering he was going through! Now I am from the country, but when I first met Lyn I didn’t understand a darn word he was saying. I got over that pretty quickly and we became fast friends. Lenita I know you will miss him terribly but rest assured you will see him again one day. May God be with you as you go through this difficult time! I love you!
