Lucille Perry Anderson

WENDELL – Lucille Perry Anderson, 68, of Wendell, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on September 29, 2024. Born on July 10, 1956, in Wake County, NC, she was the beloved daughter of the late Hillard Woodrow Perry and Nora Denton Perry.
Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who dedicated her life to her family. Her warmth and loving spirit touched everyone around her. She had a special affinity for animals and found joy in roses.
Though she could be hard-headed, her strength of character only amplified the love she had for those close to her. Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Marshall Lee Anderson, Jr.; son, Michael Anderson (Ivy); daughter, Lisa Marie Anderson; siblings, Charles Perry (Brenda), Rose Bridges (Floyd), and Jo Tidwell (Ron); and her cherished grandchildren, Lily Howell, Amber Anderson, and Emery Lee Anderson. She is preceded in death by her brother, Larry “Bird” Perry.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2-3 pm, Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third Street, Wendell, NC 27591, with a memorial service following immediately after at 3 pm.

I am so sorry to hear of Lucille’s passing. Marshall, I’m praying for you and all the family. May God give you strength and peace to endure your loss.
Condolences to the family. I met Lucille at Glaxo in 1984 ~a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. Gods love never fail to be your comfort at this time of need.
