Lisa Jane Carter Strickland
August 6, 1966 – March 9, 2026
MIDDLESEX – Lisa Jane Strickland, at the early age of 59, tragically lost her life and now, can finally rest. She was born in Franklin Co. to Robert Carter and Dallie Massie. Lisa loved to care for others, especially for those she kept close in her heart. She had many joys in life but none more important to her than her family. She will be deeply missed for many years to come. Along with her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her brothers, Kent Carter, Toney Carter; her sister, Glinda Johnson and her sister-in-law, Doris Carter.
Funeral service will begin at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Union Hope Baptist Church, located at 12712 NC-97, Zebulon, NC 27597. The family will speak with friends following the service.
Lisa is survived by her soul mate and life partner of 40 years, Eddie Strickland; her son, Ashley Strickland; her brother, Trent Carter and her sister-in-law, Ann Carter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to her son, Ashley Strickland in person.

Im so so sorry for the families loss! Lisa was a very sweet kind hearted nurse that came to my home every year for my Macy! We so appreciated her services. She will be so deeply missed. May God bless you all until you meet again in Heaven.
