Linda Kimball Strickland

January 6, 1949 – April 14, 2016

ZEBULON – Linda Kimball Strickland, 67, of Pilot, died at home on April 14, 2016, surrounded by family and friends.  She and twin sister, Donna, were born in Wake County to the late Tom and Louise Kimball, January 6, 1949.

She graduated from Wakelon High School in 1967. She was employed by WakeMed, Blount, Bio-Medics, Northern Telecom, and retired from Cipheroptics.

Linda loved the beach, beach music, flip-flops, family, friends, and had an enormous love for animals.

I addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Kimball.

Survived by her devoted husband, Karl, sisters Betty Fuller, Frances Pate, of Zebulon, and Donna Bullock(Tom) of Raleigh, and stepdaughter Karla Wheeler(Andy) of Fuquay, four step-grandchildren, a niece and numerous nephews, special friend Freddie Hinton, and dogs Bob(Seger) and Jethro(Gibbs).

Family would like to express their deep appreciation to Duke HomeCare & Hospice.  A special thank you to Carol Bissell and Julie Stolzer for their loving care and Chaplain Nate Warren for his support and prayers.

Friends welcomed at the home residence.

A Celebration of life will be held at a 2-4 pm, Saturday, May 7, 2016, East Wake Academy in the dining hall/gym, 400 NMC Drive, Zebulon,  NC.  Casual Dress & Flip Flops Encouraged
