September 23, 1948 – May 26, 2024

Beloved momma, granny, and great-granny Linda Kay Anderson sadly passed away this Sunday, May 26th. Born in Lafayette Kentucky to late parents Ruby Pauline Wall Griffey and Robert Brandon Griffey, she was raised and lived as a woman of the Lord and her family can relish in her time spent on Earth knowing they will see her again in Heaven someday. Throughout her life, she worked as a document controller at the Carolina Power and Light company as well as in the home as a wife and momma. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her siblings, Esther Mae Mills, Peggy Sue Chadwick, Nell Frances Stokes, & Robert Peanut Griffey.

Linda is survived by her husband of over 57 years, Arnold Grey Anderson; her children, Arnold G. Anderson Jr., Bobby Ray Anderson (Denise), & Frances Riddle (James); her grandchildren, Niki Riddle, Zach Riddle, Shaina Anderson, Ashton Anderson, Hailey Anderson, Micah Anderson, Ella Grey Bowden (Seth), & Braelyn Anderson; great-grandchildren Bella Morgan, Kravin Morgan, and Tate Bowden; and her siblings, Bobby Griffey (Bonnie), Libby Rowe (Ronnie) & Cecil Hancock.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, June 1st at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Wendell. Burial will follow at Bailey Town Cemetery.

Flowers are welcome or in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Ignite Bible Fellowship for bible missions.

    In every generation there are a few Angels that live among us. Linda Anderson was indeed one of those Angels. She mad everything & everyone better being in her presence. She will truly be remembered as one who loved deeply and made you feel like you were the most important person alive. I rejoice in her arrival of her heavenly home and thank God for allowing me to be her Little Charlie!
