WENDELL – Linda Gail Bass Zimmerman, 69, died Friday at home. She was born in Harnett County to the late Burchal Q. Bass & Delphia Westbrook Smith . She was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother who loved the holidays, especially, Easter. She was preceded in death by several siblings.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Kenneth Zimmerman of the home, children, Chris Zimmerman (Janet Yates) of Knightdale, Michael Zimmerman (Esther) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lora Curtis of Wendell, Gloria Phillips (Eric) of Raleigh, grandchildren, Tony Curtis, Jr. (Nikki Massey), Sandy Curtis (Nick Salazar), Tiffany Lee (Brad Hart), Bobby Berne (Angela), Austin Phillips, Leona Zimmerman, Emma Zimmerman, Aiden Zimmerman, Ragan Byrd, 16 great grandchildren, & several siblings.

Funeral service 2 pm, Tuesday, Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell with visitation from 1 – 2 pm, prior to the service. Burial, Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

    We the Creech family are so sorry for your lost. We use to be neighbors. She was a wonderful person. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers .
