One thing not mentioned in Lewis’s obituary is the fact that he was a very talented and prolific leatherworker. As a member of the Raleigh Leatherworkers Guild, Lewis would often amaze us by the number of beautiful projects that he would create. And he was very happy to share his techniques, knowledge, and patterns with the guild members. He will truly be missed by many.

Our condolences to Mrs. Moody and the rest of the family.

Mrs. Mary, I am so very sorry for your loss. At DOR, you used to tell me how much Lewis loved to hunt like my husband Jeff. Many hugs to you.
