Lee “Warren” Edwards

ZEBULON – Lee “Warren” Edwards, 81, passed on from this life on Monday, September 21, 2026. Warren was born in Wake Co. to the late William Thomas & Mozelle Ruth Hagwood Edwards. Warren honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. Later, he worked as a Shop Technician/Welder at Wilson Parts & Equipment for 48 years. Warren was a devoted son, brother and uncle who was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Despite his health struggles in recent years, he was still quick to smile, and his strength will never be forgotten. Along with his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruth, Catherine, Betty Ann, Wallace, and Harold.
A Graveside service will begin at 11:00AM on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, located at 809 W. Gannon Ave. of Zebulon, NC.
Warren leaves behind his brother, Bobby Wayne Edwards (Esperanza) of Alexandria, VA and many nieces and nephews whose lives he touched throughout his amazing life.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Chatham UMC, 1826 Chatham Church Road, Moncure, NC 27559 to their “Community Outreach” program.
A special mention to George Simms and Michael Edwards for their dedication and acts of love and support shown towards Uncle Warren through the years.
