LOUISBURG – Laura Horton Perry, 70, of 98 Hwy., New Hope Community, died Wednesday morning at her home. She retired from NC Department of Corrections. Laura was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Horton, Sr.
Funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. Burial, New Hope Christian Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Vivian A. Horton of Bunn; sisters and brothers, Kannie Perry, Jewel Mullen, Willie Horton, Jr. (Pete) of Bunn, Faye Cash of Louisburg, Milton Horton of Spring Hope, Freddie Horton and Barbara Massey of Zebulon.
The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Friday prior to the service and other times at the home of her Mother, Vivian A. Horton, 5045 Hwy 39, Bunn. Arrangements by Strickland Funeral Home, Wendell.
