WENDELL– Larry Gene Price, 87, transitioned from this life, leaving heavy hearts in those that loved him dearly. He was born in Johnston Co. to the late Garland Chester & Maggie Hocutt Price. By profession, Larry owned his own farm and was a farmer for many years. He provided for and loved his family immensely. They meant the world to him and would do anything for them. Larry was an avid and active member of Baptist Tabernacle church. He will be missed for the many years to come. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of many years, Othell Hinton and his son, Darrell Price.

Funeral service will be at Baptist Tabernacle Church, 1599 NC-231, Wendell, NC 27591 on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11:00 am with a visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to service.

He is survived by his son, Gerald Price (Charlene); his sister Judy Boswell; his grandchildren, Julia Rubright (Austin), Brock Waynik (Olivia), his nieces and nephews, Lorrie Gay (Donald), Michelle Lumley (Greg), Don Chamblee (Shannon) and numerous other special nieces and nephews.
