Kelsey Patrice Smith

WENDELL – Kelsey Patrice Smith, 23, passed away on Wednesday, surrounded by her loving family.  Kelsey was a kind and beautiful spirit and adored by her beautiful little girl.  Kelsey was a native of Wake County, and an East Wake High School graduate.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Kendall Braxton Smith; grandparents, William Braxton Smith, Sr. & Daisy Jeanette Autry.

Kelsey is survived by her daughter Melana Jade Lillis; parents William Braxton & Jill Martin Smith, Jr.; siblings, Kelton Smith, Trey Smith; grandparents Faye “PeePaw” & Charlie “PaPa” Martin, Jr.; and by her many loving aunts and uncles.

Funeral service 2 pm, Monday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, with visitation from 1-2 pm, prior to the service and other times at the home. Burial to follow in Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.  www.stricklandfuneralhomes.net
