Katie Joyce was one of my favorites cousins of the Manning-Green families! She had a kind spirit and and an infectious laugh that made us all feel good! Billy and I send love and prayers to Kathe, Colin, Wilson and all her family. There is comfort knowing she is healthy today and is with John, Johnny, Martha, Bubba, Franklin and all her special Manning, Green and Eddins relatives!

My heart is saddened by the loss of another dear first cousin. Katie, Franklin, Wilson, Aunt Martha and Uncle Herman were always important and special to our Green family. We spent many happy hours together both in childhood and adulthood. Katie was always an accepting and kind lady, cousin and friend, and I know she will be missed by many. I agree with Betsy – she had a wonderful chuckle/laugh that was easily and often “expressed.” It was amazing how she faced every physical challenge that came her way with courage and grace. You were a wonderful daughter and caregiver for Katie, Kathe, and we’re praying for you, Colin, Wilson and all your family. I can just imagine the multitude of Vances, Eddins, Mannings and Greens who welcomed her into Heaven, Rest in peace, dear Katie. You were loved!

Katie Joyce was well-loved by many! As a young girl, I looked forward to seeing Katie and her family each time they came to visit Aunt Martha and Uncle Herman (“Bubba”) because that meant not only did I get to see her and John, but also Johnny and Kathe! A bonus would be if Kathe also brought their dog! As sad as I am now to learn of Katie’s passing from this earthly life, I take comfort in knowing that she is now no longer sick or in pain, but, instead, is rejoicing in Heaven with God, our Father, and the rest of her family who predeceased her in death. I will continue to remember and pray for Wilson, Kathe, Colin, and the rest of Katie’s family.
