Kathryn Alford O’Neal

WENDELL – Kathryn Alford O’Neal, age 75, transitioned from this life the morning of Friday, November 14, 2025. She was born in Wake County on February 27, 1950 to the late Sexton and Effie Moody Alford. In her spare time, Kathryn loved her beautiful flowers and enjoyed getting lost in her jigsaw puzzles. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ralph Dixon “Dickey” O’Neal.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Dixon O’Neal and his wife Sheila Bunn O’Neal of Wendell; grandchildren, Andrew Dixon, Dylan Matthew & Emily Rachel O’Neal; sister, Sherry Alford; dear friend, Gayle Stephenson.
Funeral Service will take place at 2:00pm on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Baptist Tabernacle Church, 1599 NC-231, Wendell, NC 27591. The family will receive friends for Visitation from 1:00pm – 1:45pm, prior to the service. Interment will take place immediately following the service in the church cemetery. Pastor Glen Brock of Baptist Tabernacle Church will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of one’s choosing.

Kevin, Sheila and family, I was so sorry to see of the passing of your mom. My heart goes out to you and your family. May the good lord give you strenth and comfort in the days ahead.
