June Louise Edgcombe Stoakes

ZEBULON – June Louise Stoakes, 88, died Saturday. She was born in Flint, Michigan to the late Ralph & Florence Edgcombe. She was an artistic woman who loved painting and writing stories. One of her biggest joys was playing card games with family. June enjoyed being outdoors, watching the birds outside and especially gardening. The most prominent thing in her life though was her love for family. She grew up in a close knit relationship with her siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Stoakes and her brothers, Jack Edgcombe, Jim Edgcombe and Larry Edgcombe.
She is survived by her children, Eric Stoakes (Michelle), Kirk Stoakes (Kristen), Valerie Stoakes, siblings, Ann Miller, Shirley Miller (Clint), grandchildren, Erika, Anders, & Annika.
