Judy Ann Johnson

ZEBULON – Judy Ann Johnson, 73, transitioned from this life on Friday, October 13, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 26, 1950, in Wake County to the late Lance Chandler and Meta Turner Johnson, Sr. Judy worked for ITT Alcatel for many years, then working for ESP until her retirement. The love that Judy shared with her family was evident to all who encountered them. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tiffany Strickland and Madison Bunn; siblings, Sarah Fletcher, Lance C. Johnson, Jr. and Larry Johnson.
Funeral service will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, NC 27591. Interment to follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Ave., Zebulon, NC 27597.
She is survived by her children, Tim Bunn and wife, Gretta, Donnie Bunn and wife, Nicole, and Kathy Carroll and husband, Tim; siblings, L.H. Johnson, Clara Knott and husband, Marsh, and James Johnson and wife, Hilda; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:00pm – 7:30pm, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to Amedisys Hospice.

One Day she and I will be line dancing in heaven ! We have had so many good times thru the years ! I try not to remember some of the difficult times , July has experienced . But I was always your friend ready to support you. Love and miss her.
