Judith (Pete) Creech Pearce

Judith (Pete) Creech Pearce 81, of Zebulon NC passed away peacefully Saturday April 20, 2024. A native of Zebulon, she was the youngest daughter of the late James and Evelyn Creech of Zebulon. Pete was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church. She loved her family, her friends and was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley and her UNC Tarheels. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Edward S. Pearce Jr., nephew David C. Pearce, and daughter-in-law Lucy S. Pearce.

She is survived by her only child, Edward S. Pearce III of Raleigh. Her Sister, Anne Creech White of Zebulon, and her brother James (Randy) Ransom Creech Jr. (Judy) of Bluffton SC. Brother-In-Laws Michael (Linda) of Youngsville NC and Tim (Julie) of Raleigh. She is also survived by nephews, Vann (Emily) Pearce of Arlington, VA, Stephen (Leslie) Pearce of Raleigh, John (Sara) Pearce of Raleigh, Corey (Colette) Creech of Gainesville, VA, Andrew Pearce (Caitlin) of Chapel Hill; and a very special niece, Candace Creech Caldwell (Kevin) of Cumming, GA, along with 12 great nieces and nephews.

While her family and friends were very important to her, her only grandchild, Chandler Pearce was by far her greatest joy of all. He was lucky enough to have her love and presence for 26 years and she truly cherished every moment with him.

Her dear neighbors of 10 years, Jeff and Kristen McLamb, and especially their 4 young daughters (the girls) brought tremendous joy and happiness to her on a daily basis while watching them grow up.

Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made to Zebulon Baptist Church, or Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh.

Visitation will be at Zebulon Baptist Church at 1:00pm on Wednesday April 24, 2024, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00pm at Zebulon Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon NC by Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell

The family will receive friends at the home of Anne White. 217. W. McIver Street, Zebulon NC.
