Judith Hood Medlin
August 11, 1939 – March 21, 2023
ZEBULON – Judith Hood Medlin, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday. She was born in Wake County to the late Fred Hood & Geraldine Earp Hood. She worked as a Claims Adjuster, handling insurance for medical institutions. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Nathan Edwin Medlin.
She is survived by her children, Robin Davenport of Whitakers, NC, Denise Medlin Booth (Brad) of Warrenton, VA, Nathan Earl Medlin of Elm City, NC, and Jeffrey Brian Medlin of Halifax, NC; grandchildren, Deana Davenport, Andrea Davenport, Zachary Booth and Harrison Booth; her beloved cat, Smokey, and many dear friends.
Graveside Service, 3pm, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Ave., Zebulon, NC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, prior to the service, from 1:30pm to 2:30pm at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third Street, Wendell, NC.

So sorry for the loss of your mother. I remember your grandmother, she decorated the church when I got married in 1959

We are so sorry for your loss. Judy was a joy to be around. We always enjoyed talking with her; especially at the 1957 class reunions. She will be missed.
