John was preceded in death by his father, Elmo T. Williams.
John is survived by his son, David Williams of Zebulon; mother, Alice H. Williams of Raleigh; sister, Dawn Bennett (John) of Hampstead; and nephew, Blair Houtz of Wilmington.
