Jeffrey Leon Garris
September 13, 1966 – September 26, 2015
ZEBULON – Jeffrey Leon Garris, 49, died Saturday. He was a native of Marion
County, SC. He loved working on heavy equipment, going fishing, and the
outdoors. He was always concerned for others. His father, Earl Manford Garris,
brother, Kenneth Wayne Garris, & the mother of his daughter, Sally, preceded him
in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Crawley (Nickolas) of Whitakers, mother,
Margaret Thompson Gilpin (Harry) of Franklinton, siblings, Bo Garris (Dottie) of
Kenly, Debra Garris (Charles Spurgeon) of Boynton, VA, Lisa Brantley (special
friend, Jason Spellman), 4 nieces, & 3 great grandnieces.

131 Pollock Rd., Kenly, NC, 27542.
Funeral service 11 am, Tuesday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third
St., Wendell with visitation from 9:30 -11 am, prior to the service. Burial,
Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
