Jason Wayne Brown
August 19, 1983 – February 17, 2025
MIDDLESEX – Jason Wayne Brown, 41, of Middlesex, NC, passed away February 17, 2025. He was born August 19, 1983, in Durham, North Carolina, to Tammy Brown.
Jason was one of a kind—there’s just no repeating the unique impression he left on all our hearts and lives. He had the heart of a lion but carried the quiet gentleness of a lamb. Whether you knew him for years or just met him once, you knew he was special.
He had a remarkable talent for fishing, a deep love for classic cars, and a passion for drag racing. Jason had an endless love for music—of all kinds. One of the greatest joys of Jason’s life was being a husband and big brother.
Jason was also dedicated to his work, where he thrived as a Parts Manager at Ascendum Machinery of Garner. He was highly respected by his coworkers and took great pride in his work.
Jason’s love was deep, steady, and unconditional, and the bonds he made with others were unbreakable. His time with us was too short, but the love he left behind will stay with us forever.
Jason is survived by his wife, Kristy Morgan Brown; mother, Tammy Brown and brother, Joshua Brown; grandparents, Don R. and Alice Faye Brown; mother-in-law, Teresa “Ma” Morgan; uncles, Mike (Eva), Phil (Stephanie), and Richard; aunt, Renee Standish (Rick); and many much-loved cousins. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Max & Sassy.
Jason is preceded in death by his beloved pet, Peanut.

To Jason’s wife and family, while words can never fully capture the sorrow of this moment, we want to express our deepest condolences. Our thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time.
Jason brought a unique spirit to our workplace, and his presence will be sorely missed. We will continue to honor his memory by upholding the values he instilled in us through his work and interactions with employees and our ASCENDUM customers.
You were not able to be by his side at work everyday, but he meant alot to this work family at ASCENDUM and we are fortunate that you shared him with us.
Let’s continue to cherish the memories and moments we shared with Jason and keep him in our hearts. Kristin Parker & ASCENDUM team
It has been an honor to have known and worked with Jason. His family is in our thoughts and prayers.
We personally didn’t know Jason, but felt like we did. We are customers of Asendum where he worked. No matter how difficult it was to find a part for our out dated machinery our customers have he would alway come through or if he couldn’t find the part we knew he had definitely went through every avenue to find it.. We knew him only by his name and his voice . When we called. We always asked for him. He was kind, curious and made you fell like you were talking to a friend when you called. Our condolences to his family, friends and co workers. Eventho we personally didn’t know him, he left a warm great impression on us.
