Janet Pippin Taylor
February 16, 1934 – January 28, 2024

ZEBULON – Janet Pippen Taylor, 89, a good and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away, and is now in eternal rest in her heavenly home. She was born in Franklin Co. to the late Bryant & Ruth Medlin Pippin. She grew up and was raised on her parents farm, probably from where she gained her love for gardening. Janet was a kind, caring and loving homemaker that loved her family and her savior. She was a member of Pilot Baptist Church, where she was actively involved. She was also a lifelong and active residence of the Pilot community, a place she knew no strangers and met many loving friends. Janet was an amazing wife to her husband, mother to her children and a great friend to so many. Her memory will live on in all the lives she touched. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Taylor; brothers, Mack Pippin and Tommy Pippin; and her sisters, Tina Hignutt, Ruth Ray and Gertrude Frazier.

Celebration of life will be on January 30, 2024 at Pilot Baptist Church, 8103 NC Hwy 39, Zebulon NC at 2:00pm, with visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm prior to service

She is survived by her son, Ricky “Rick” Taylor and daughter, Janet “Jan” Taylor; her brother, Sam Pippin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved in-laws.
