James Sherwood Lassiter III

MIDDLESEX – James Sherwood Lassiter III, 61, died Sunday. He was born in Johnston County to the late Frances Ross Bissette. He was an actor who enjoyed entertaining people and perfecting his craft. He was also a model.
He is survived by his sister, Myra L. Brown (James) of Middlesex, step-father, Bobby Bissette, uncles, Tim Ross (Ann), Buddy Ross, aunt, Jane Adams, step-brother, Derek Bissette (Lisa), niece, Amanda Horne (Jason), nephew Dustin Brown, step-niece Kristen Webb (Jimmy), Matthew Bissette (Lisa), great nephews & nieces Riley, Emma, Eden, Brantley, & Lawsen.
Memorial service 7 pm, Thursday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell with visitation from 5:30 – 7 pm, prior to the service. www.stricklandfuneral.com The family will be at Myra’s home.
