James Howard Wells
April 12, 1934 – April 2, 2018
ZEBULON – James Howard Wells, 83, died Monday. He was born in Durham County to the late Charlie & Helen Davis Wells. He retired after 34 years with A&P. Mr. Wells really enjoyed fishing as well as gardening.
Funeral service 11 am, Friday, Hephzibah Baptist Church with committal 2 pm at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington.
He is survived by his wife of over 39 years, Annie Pearl Lee Wells of the home; children, Dennis Wells (Deborah) of Zebulon, Mike Wells (Nancy) of Wake Forest, Debbie Finch (Bruce) of Clayton, Joey McLeod (Jennifer) of Zebulon, Louie McLeod of Zebulon, brother, Charles Wells (Jean) of SC, 11 grandchildren & 19 great grandchildren.
Flowers welcomed, or memorials may be made to Hephzibah Baptist Church.
Visitation 7-8:30 pm, Thursday, Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell & other times at the home.
