James Everette Eatmon, Sr.
October 15, 1941 – January 1, 2018

ZEBULON – James Everette Eatmon, Sr., 76, died new years day with his family surrounding him. He was born in Johnston County to the late John Bryant & Dorothy Batts Eatmon. He was a construction foreman and a down to earth man who always let you know where you stood. He was preceded in death by a brother, Brooks Eatmon.

He is survived by his spouse, Barbara Eatmon, children; Donald Eatmon, Donna Pollard, Kimberly Eatmon & James Eatmon, Jr (Mary),. Sisters; Ann Bunn (Steve) of Zebulon, Linda Flowers (Charles) of Knightdale, Sue Puryear of Knightdale, Faye Perry (Linwood) of Youngsville, Brother, Henry Eatmon, grandchildren; Anthony, Patrick, Skyler, Damian, Danielle, Bella, L.J., Johnny & Amanda, great grandchildren; Justin, Dylan, Hope & Grace, & special friend of 25 years, Jean Strickland.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pruitt Hospice.

Memorial service 3 pm, Saturday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell with visitation from 1:30 -3 pm, prior to the service & other times at the home. www.stricklandfuneral.com
