WENDELL – Jacob, 25 passed away March 5, 2024 in Raleigh.

On June 26, 1998 in Youngstown, Ohio Jacob Robert Rezek was born, bringing with him extraordinary gifts, including love, humor, sincerity, passion and a never ending smile. One of his greatest gifts was his love and concern for his family and their well-being.

Jake enjoyed life and its simple-pleasures. While working for RDU, Jake developed a love for planes and had a desire to pursue a career that would enable him to work closely in his area of interest. In addition, attending concerts, kayaking, fishing and family, brought Jake a sense of joy, and his family will continue these activities to honor him.

Jake’s passing reunited him with his grandmother JoAnn Rezek and Uncle Adam Marchionda; both of whom he loved greatly.

Jake is survived by his parents Robert and Kristin Rezek and brother Joseph Rezek. He was loved and adored by his grandparents, Frank and Susan Marchionda and Newman Rezek. His Aunts and Uncles included Kim and Jeff Tolnar, Laura and Rick Delambo, Nicole and Robert Burosky. Jake was also fortunate to be surrounded by many cousins and relatives who held a special place in his heart.

Donations can be made to The First Responders Children’s Foundation at 1strcf.org in Jake’s memory. Please add Jake’s first and last name and the following e-mail to the donation form, Brezek1@att.net
