    Dear Brent, Beth and family,
Your Mom was a truly wonderful woman that God used to make the world a better place every place she went and in every life she encountered. She was that same wonderful lady every time you saw her. Your Daddy was the greatest preacher we have ever known and the Lord used Mrs.Ida Mae to be the perfect soulmate to that great man of God. They were the Billy and Ruth Graham to our part of the world.

The impact she and Pastor Barham had on the Central Baptist Church and Wendell community is indescribable, perhaps the word “Priceless” comes close.

What a sweet video. Ricky Anderson said it best when he said your parents were the Ruth & Billy Graham of our time. Have so many special memories of them both while at Baptist Tabernacle.. Special folks to so many people. May God hold you in the palm of His hand and comfort you with His love. God’s best to you.

  • Deborah Barham Butler Posted March 30, 2020 9:50 am

I am so sad to hear of the passing of your precious mother. I remember her as such a kind and supportive person. “Well done good and faithful servant” can certainly be said of her. (I am C.R. Barham’s daughter — your Dad performed my marriage ceremony in 1975).
