WENDELL – Howard Eugene Foster, 83, of Wendell, NC, went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Howard was born on July 19, 1942, in Galesburg, IL, a son of the late Eugene T Foster and Rosemary Jeanette Scott Foster.  He lived in Los Angeles, CA, until his late 30’s, when he moved to the east coast, eventually settling in NC. He proudly served his country as a Medic in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He was a wonderful husband who loved his family. He was a strong Christian who loved the Lord.

He is survived by his loving wife, Malinda Mae Suggs Foster and a son, Howard Foster Jr. and his wife, Rebecca.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, F. Scott Foster.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no formal funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to a church or homeless shelter of your choosing.
