HELEN L. LLOYD

July 21, 1928 – Jan. 21, 2011

GARNER – Helen Lynn Lloyd, 82, went to be with her Lord Friday.  A native of Jones Co., she was daughter to the late Wiley Wayland & Lucile Chadwick Lynn.  She was a former chairperson for the Arthritis Foundation, NC Chapter.  She was predeceased by her husband Macon J. Lloyd.

            Surviving are daughters, Susan Barron of Garner, Pamela Bunch of Raleigh, Debbie Gray of Middlesex, & son, Joseph Samuel Horton of Smithfield, grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Zachary, Christy, Abbey, Lindsay, Shannon, and 4 great grandchildren.

            Flowers or memorials to Heartland Hospice, 3200 Atlantic Ave, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC, 27605 are welcomed.

            Funeral 3 pm, Monday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell.  Visitation 1:30 pm to 3 pm prior to the service. Burial, Greenmount Cemetery.  www.stricklandfuneralhomes.net
