WENDELL – Hazel Hollifield Sasser, 86, died Tuesday.  She was born in Wake County to the late William Richard and Dahila Strickland Hollifield.  She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Thomas Sasser.

She is survived by her children, Terry Sasser (Sandra), Ricky Sasser (Robin), Connie Norris (Kelly) & 7 grandchildren.

Graveside service 3pm, Saturday, Central Baptist Church Cemetery with visitation 1-2:30pm, Saturday, Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, prior to the service. www.stricklandfuneral.com
