Harold Robert “Bob” Gochnour
June 15, 1946 – January 1, 2014
Harold Robert “Bob” Gochnour, 67, died Wednesday. He served in the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Gochnour worked for the Wake County School System in Child Nutrition Services for over 25 years. Bob was a huge Mudcats fan and was a charter member of the booster club. He loved the Baltimore Orioles and the College World Series of Baseball.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marcia VanHorn Gochnour, siblings, Kenneth Gochnour (Sandra) of Raleigh, Elmer John Gochnour (Jean) of Pasadena, MD, Susan Leatherwood (James) of Glen Burnie, MD, Karen Andrade of Winchester, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews who meant the world to him.

I miss you very much Uncle Bob. Thank you for the great memories visiting as a child. Thank for teaching me the many important things and life lessons you taught me. Thank you for giving me a home with you for 3 years when my life was unsure and unsettled that led to my successful life today. Thank you being the coolest Uncle a kid could have as I was so proud of you. RIP Uncle Bob…I pray we are reunited in Heaven when we awaken through God’s Mercy & Grace.
