Gwen Ray Bunn, 76, of Zebulon, NC, died on Monday, November 24, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on May 11, 1949, in Franklin County, NC, a daughter of the late Marcus Thurman Ray, Jr. and the late Donna Williams Ray.
She was married to the late Donnie Bruitt Bunn.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, David Marcus Ray.
She is survived by her son, Marcus Bunn and wife Tifney; two daughters, Katherine Maron and Karen Bracey and husband Bryan; seven grandchildren, Amber Walston, Michael Dylan Walston, Travis Bunn, Leann Mason, Samantha Nylander, Alex Bracey, and Taylor Bracey; six great grandchildren; a twin-sister, Lynn Whitley; and a brother Danny Ray.

Gwen was a beautiful, kind soul! She was very athletic in school and always had a smile! May God bless her family during this difficult time!
Gwen and Donnie helped us out a lot when we were first married .we helped them barn tobacco on the weekends .Gwen and I shared a love of reading and often passed books between us .The girls would come over and clean my house , hold the babies and play with them . Gwen was very smart in accounting .
