GRACE HOCUTT RICHARDSON
May 16, 1921 – June 19, 2014
ZEBULON – Grace Hocutt Johnson Richardson, 93, went home to the Lord on Thursday with her family by her side. A native of Johnston County she was daughter to the late Garlie & Meacie Alford Hocutt. Her childhood church home was Baptist Tabernacle. She was a member of Hales Chapel Baptist Church for over 50 years. Her children & family were her life, as well as her nephews & nieces. She loved, loved, loved, flowers. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clemon Johnson of 50 years & Bud Richardson of 11 years, siblings, Crettie, Lillian, Gladys, Maggie, Bill, & Buck, Jr.
Funeral service, 2 pm, Sunday, Hales Chapel Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Shelia Driver (Norman), Susie Hinnant (Bill), both of Zebulon, grandchildren, Trey Gordon, Billy Hinnant, Elizabeth Jones (Tommie), Kevin Driver (Jennifer), Nicholas Driver, great grandchildren, Trevor, Tyler, Marshall, Bailey, Catherine, Connor, & Brayden, sister, Helen Johnson (Aaron).
Flowers welcomed or memorials to Hales Chapel Baptist Church, Baptist Tabernacle Church, or Watkins Chapel Baptist Church are welcomed.
Visitation 6 – 8 pm, Saturday, Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell and other times at Grace’s home.
