Franklin “Frank” Delano Price

SELMA – Franklin “Frank” Delano Price, 90, made his heavenly ascension on Thursday, October 12, 2023. He was born November 2, 1932, in Johnston County to the late Ernest and Nedgie Ellen Price. Upon completion of his Military Service, he returned to Johnston County to work his land as a Farmer. Those of us who had a relationship with Frank know of his devout love for his family and friends. He enjoyed a life filled with laughter. He was married to the love of his life, Katie, for more than 67 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Nellie Gray Moore, brother-in-law, I.W. Moore and sister-in-law, Jeanette Price.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Katie Hocutt Price; son, Ted Price and wife, Ashley; daughter, Pam Outlaw and husband, David; grandchildren, Teddy Price, Alexis Price, Taylor Outlaw and Brendan Outlaw; brother, Lynwood Price; many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00pm, Monday, October 16, 2023, at Baptist Tabernacle Church, 1599 NC-231, Wendell, NC 27591. The family will receive friends for Visitation from 11:00am – 11:45am, prior to the service. Interment is private.

Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Tabernacle Church General Fund and/or the Vera Hocutt Circle at Baptist Tabernacle Church.
