Frances Marie Hinnant Johnson
October 20, 1946 – January 29, 2020
WENDELL – Frances Hinnant Johnson, 73, died Wednesday. She was born in Wake County to the latte Clarence Ruffin & Sadie Marie Honeycutt Hinnant. She loved gardening, fine dining and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Maurice Lee Johnson, Sr., son, Maurice Lee Johnson, Jr., (Mary Jane) of Hendersonville, daughter, June Marie Tyndall (Charles B. Jr.) of Clayton, siblings, Barbara Ann Wall (Kenneth) of Jackson, GA, Jo Ann Balboni (Henry) of Clayton. grandchildren, Jameson Ryan Parker, Paige Waldrop (Eli), and Brantley Tyndall, III and great grandchild Taylor Marie Parker.
Visitation and funeral will be held at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, Sunday 2/2 from 12:30 – 2 pm, Burial will follow in Central Baptist Church Cemetery. www.stricklandfuneral.com

June,Lee and Maurice I am so sorry for your loss. I remember her as a very kind and gracious lady. She always made me feel welcomed in her home when I was a teenager and would spend the night with June. Good memories, praying for you all.

Fran was a wonderful, magical lady. She was a fantastic gardener, and I learned so much from her. I was honored to meet her, and laugh with her. Rest in lovely peace, dear lady.
