Fields Garner Lewis, 78, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024, to join his heavenly rest. Born on August 3, 1945, in Wake County, NC, Fields was the cherished son of the late Ernest Hyman Lewis and Bernice Gaynale Branch.

In his earlier years, Fields dedicated his career to Carolina Power Light as a skilled lineman. Beyond his professional life, Fields was known for his deep passions and hobbies. He held a special affection for Harley Davidson motorcycles, finding joy in the open road and the freedom they symbolized. An avid collector, Fields enjoyed collecting an assortment of guns, knives, and a variety of hats, each piece reflecting his distinctive tastes and interests.

He is survived by his loving wife, Treva Batten Lewis; son, Nathan Shane Johnson; daughters, Shannon (Lee) Lewis Chamblee and Faith Lewis Webster; sisters, Evelyn Wilkins and Anne Armstrong; grandchildren, Cody (Darienne) Johnson, Amber (Josh) Kirkman, Jessica Webster, Lee (Payton) Chamblee, Jr., Amber Chamblee, and Toby Chamblee; and great-grandchildren, Asher Johnson, Bennett Chamblee, Adam Kirkman, Austin Kirkman, and Dominic Webster.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am, Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Catawba Springs Christian Church, in Apex, NC, with a memorial service starting at 11 am. A private interment will take place at a later date.
