I knew Ms. Eva through Mount Calvary Baptist Church in which we both attended. She was a very sweet lady and my heart goes out to each of you during this very difficult time. Please know we are praying for all the family. We pray for God’s love to wrap each of you and that He will give you comfort and peace in the upcoming days and weeks. May He bless each of you!

As neighbors we are just a few houses away but work kept us from having a meaningful relationship. A friendly wave from both her and Murad was all that we had.

But then I was reunited with Eva after I retired in 2023. She became my walking buddy and from these walks I learned so much about the rich history behind the Wallace family and everyone beyond them. She loved her family so very much! What a huge heart Eva had and what a blessing she was to me. I will miss Eva K, But I know that as my poem describes, “My Body Will Be Glorify”, as Christians, we will see each other again! I love you my sister in Christ. ❤️🙏🏽❤️

I grew up with Eva Ann. Her mother Addie and my aunt Roxie Pryor were sisters. I live in Harriman and often pass the property where her family home was in Walnut Hill…we graduated high school in 1959. I will always remember her….with fondness, Gertie Jarnagin Day
