Zebulon – Esther Mae Abbott Anderson, 91, went to her Heavenly home on November 9, 2023. She was born in Johnston County to the late Barney and Lucy Evans Abbott. Esther was a loving wife, mother and granny. She worked as a seamstress with Devil Dog for most of her career. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and baking. Along with her parents, she was preceded by her first-born son, Randy Anderson, six brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband Donald Ray Anderson, brother, Clarence Abbott, son Jeff Anderson (Cindy), daughters, Pam Pollard (Mike) and Susan Curtis (Robert), five grandchildren, and one very special great grandchild, Allie.

Visitation will be at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Sunday November 12, 2023 from 5pm-6pm.

Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 11:00am with burial to follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.
