Ernestine Lamm Douglas
June 9, 1942 – January 2, 2026
Ernestine Lamm Douglas, 83, passed on from this life on January 2, 2026. She was born in Johnston Co. to the late Matthew Tommy Lamm, Sr. and Katie Mozell Lamm. Ernestine was a loving mother to her children, a caring grandmother to her grandchildren and an amazing sister to her siblings. She touched the hearts of many and will be sorely missed for the years to come. Along with her parents, Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Harold Douglas; and all her siblings, M. T. Lamm, Marie Cornic, Phillip Lamm, Charles Lamm, Annie Davis, and Tommy Lamm.
A Graveside service will commence at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, located at 7600 ACC Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27617.
Ernestine leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters Dorie Price (Mark) and Angela Kinney (Dave); her grandchildren, Joshua, Melissa and her special grand doggie, “Gracie”.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SECU Hospice.

She will always be Aunt Tina and she will be truly missed. What I am truly grateful for are the memories. I know it has been years since I have seen her, but I do have a lot of old memories full of laughter and smiles. May her and Uncle Harold be truly happy.
What a terrible loss. Tina was very hardworking lady with a ton of class and a great dresser. She was of high moral character and kept a spotless home. She was a great neighbor for many years and I miss her greatly. May she rest in peace.
