WENDELL – Ernest Edward Ellis, Sr., 76, died Friday.  He was born in Little Washington, Pennsylvania, to the late Ernest Paul Ellis, Sr. and Maggie VanNostrand Varner.  He worked for Asplundh Construction.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Skurry Ellis; sons, Ernest Edward Ellis, Jr. (Stephanie) and Johnny Dwain Ellis (Jessica); brother, Ernest Paul Ellis, Jr. (Brenda); sister, Paulette Meekins (Wendell) and grandchildren, Hunter, Jadon, Colton, Lee and Cassidy.
