Emilie Rose Bissette Privette

September 5, 1923 – July 7, 2014

ZEBULON – Emilie Rose Bissette Privette, 90, died at home, her family by her side.  A native of Franklin County she was daughter to the late Oscar & Dolly Massey Bissette.  Rose was a former Miss Wakelon, volunteer at the USO and most importantly, a home maker.  She was a kind and intelligent woman with many talents who will be truly missed.  She was preceded in death by her  husband, Carey Kendall Privette.

She is survived by her son; Maurice Scott Privette (Gwen) of Mount Airy, daughters; Charlotte Privette Tingen of Zebulon, Rosemary Privette Douna (Sytse) of Zebulon, and Elsie Miller Privette Nelson (Randy) of Garner, sister; Corinne Miller Grace of Beverly Hills, CA, grandchildren; Daniel Privette (Tammy), David Privette (Ingrid), Judith Strickland (Chad), Mandy Hall, Carey Ann Jones (Rodney), Joshua Tingen, Alison Perkins (Brandon), Katie Nelson, great grandchildren; Ashley Privette, Jora Stewart, Sophia Privette, Clayton Strickland, Ian Privette, Kendall Perkins, Brian Perkins, Ava Jones, & Ashton Jones.

Flowers welcomed or memorials may be made to Pearce Baptist Church.

A private graveside service will be held at Pearce Baptist Church Cemetery.
