Elvis Roger Griffin
October 10, 1959 – September 27, 2024
ZEBULON – Elvis Roger Griffin, at the early age of 64, suddenly and tragically lost his life. He was born in Wilson Co. to Kelton Griffin (deceased) and Rudene Hinnant Griffin. By trade, Elvis was an expert carpenter. There wasn’t much he couldn’t fix or do with his hands. Elvis had a heart of gold, always willing to help others. He had an incredible love for his family and even animals. He’ll be missed and thought about in the minds of the many people he touched along his journey. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Ray Griffin, Jackie Griffin and Michael Griffin.
He is survived by his mother, Rudene Hinnant Griffin and his siblings, Ronald Griffin, Rhonda Griffin and Tammy Hales.

Funeral service will be at 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, Wendell NC with a visitation from 2:00pm to 3:00pm prior to the service. Brial to follow in the Beulah Christian Baptist Church cemetery located at 8225 Mitchell Mill Rd., Zebulon NC.

Elvis will be missed here in the building where he lived,he was so kind and always willing to lend a helping hand, never asking for anything in return,Rip,Santa Claus as we affectionately called him
We never know what one day will lead to you had a Big heart and you loved your mother you always visited her at Zebulon Rehab and would always get me chocolates for Valentine Day your request of me when you left from visiting your mother you would say “Tami please say that Elvis have left the building”, sleep in peace Elvis.
