Ella Long Moss
February 19, 1927 – March 11, 2017
Zebulon-Ella Moss, 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, after several years of declining health. She was born in Johnston Country to the late James Edgar and Pearl Creech Long. Retired from Westinghouse in 1987 after 25 years of service. Ella was a home maker and her family was the most precious thing in her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Rudolph Moss and sister Rachael Long Maiden of Cary.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14 at 2:00 pm at Heritage Baptist Church in Zebulon where she was a founding member. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.
Ella Dean is survived by her sister, Ava Long Clark, daughters, Judy Knott of Raleigh, Jean Rhodes Helms (Grady) of Cary, Fay Wilkerson (Bill) of Raleigh and Sandra Price (Danny) of Zebulon. 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
